The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Anambra State is deploying 1, 020 personnel, comprising regular and special Marshals to ensure free flow of traffic during of Eid-El-Kabir celebration in the state.
Sector Commander, Mr. Adeoye Irelewuyi, who disclosed this in a press conference in Awka adding that its personnel will man the identified troubled areas in the flash points of the state.
He identified some of the flash points to include Enugu Onitsha expressway and the Old Awka-Onitsha Road, before Awka as well as the Upper Iweka.
He also stated that the corps has deployed its men to the Aguata axis for vehicles moving towards Imo and other parts of the South East.
The FRSC boss stated that the command is working asidiously to ensure free flow of traffic by deploying Officers, Men, and special Marshals at strategic flash points, men on standby for prompt and effective rescue services, tow trucks are also available for clearing of Obstructions,” he said.
Mr. Adeoye advised motorist in the state to always obey traffic rules and regulations.
