Fedpoly Oko: Lib Science again beats Mass Comm 3-0

In continuation of the 2020/2021 football tournament of School of Information technology, Federal Polytechnic, Oko, department of Library and Information Science is making the rounds as it decisively beats Mass Communication department 3-0.

The game which involved ND1 level of Library Science and HND 1 of Mass Communication department was aimed at unifying both departments and promoting the spirit of camaraderie as well as sportsmanship.

At about 1:30pm on Tuesday afternoon, March 16, 2021, the football tournament took place at the polytechnic school pitch.

The first goal was scored by Somto Okoyeagu of Library Science after both team engaged in a very combative match, while the second goal was scored by Kingsley David few minutes to the end of first half, making it 2-0.

During the second half, two players from Mass Communication received red card over a foul play making the team to be 11 players against 9 players.

Few minutes to the end of the second half, another goal was topped by Library Science, making the match to end by 3 goals to Zero.

Recall that in the opening ceremony, Library Science trounced Mass Communication 4-2.

The game is expected to continue tommorow.
