Nollywood actor, Kenneth Okonkwo calls for release of Nnamdi Kanu

Renowned Nollywood actor and lawyer, Kenneth Okonkwo has called for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu currently detained by the Federal Government in Abuja. Barr. Okonkwo who is also a politician was speaking on Arise TV. He cited the case of Julian Assange in the United States as similar path of wisdom Nigerian government could follow. Recall that Assange has been let off by the authorities in the United States. He also made references similar political detainees in other regions of Nigeria , who had been released and some rehabilitated. He, therefore, urged the federal government to replicate the same gesture with regard to Nnamdi Kanu. Barr. Okonkwo who strongly urged the federal government to release Kanu, also referred to earlier court rulings, which acquitted Kanu of all the charges levelled against him.
