Anambra Chief Whip, Ngobili holds town hall meeting at Ihiala, presents score card

* Says he has attracted developments in education, healthcare, employment, security, others

The lawmaker representing Ihiala Constituency 1 at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Barrister Jude Ngobili has rendered account of his stewardship for the past one year in office to his constituents and said that his constituency has developed better following his developmental strides in many sectors.

Barrister Ngobili who is the  Chief Whip at the 8th Assembly, disclosed this while presenting his score card at a maiden town hall meeting he organized for his constituents. held at Ihiala Local Government Headquarters. The event attracted a large turnout of community members, leaders,  stakeholders, and party faithful from the constituency.



Addressing his constituents, Barrister Ngobili disclosed that he has attracted road projects, sponsored many motions and supported life changing bills, currently facilitating the state's development, highlighting several key areas of focus over the past year, including infrastructure development, education, healthcare, employment, empowerment and security.

He noted that these initiatives were driven by the needs and aspirations of Ihiala Constituency One, aiming to improve the quality of life for all residents, while assuring he would continue to represent them even better in order to bring greater developments the constituency.

Lawmaker praises governor, announces free skill acquisition 

He praised Governor Chukwuma Soludo for his developmental strides in Ihiala and assured to continue to work with him to address security challenges in the area.

The lawmaker also announced free skill acquisition program for youths in the constituency to curb unemployment and restiveness through the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment.

In his remarks, the Transition Committee Chairman, Ihiala Council Area, Engr. Anayo Orjiakor, praised Ngobili for his dedication and effective representation, noting that he has shown exemplary leadership and a genuine commitment to the development of Ihiala.

Contributing, a stakeholder from the constituency, Chief Ifeanyi Ojiakor and the APGA Chairman, Ihiala Council Area, Mr. Chijioke Okoye also commended Barrister Ngobili, noting he has not only fulfilled his campaign promises but has also gone above and beyond to ensure that Ihiala Constituency One progresses on all fronts.

During the event, the constituents also drew the attention of the lawmaker and Governor Soludo to their challenges such as insecurity and erosion, urging them to come to their aid

The event climaxed with awards presentation by Ihiala Local Government Council, Stakeholders from the constituency and APGA party.
