Cody Rhodes finally won Brock Lesnar after hitting multiple cross roads. Surprisingly after the match, Lesnar shook hands with Cody and raised his hand in a sign of respect. As part of the celebration, Cody Rhodes hugged his mom at ringside.

Lesnar dominated at a time  and took Cody to Suplex City. Lesnar adminstered Cody F5 on the floor but he beat the count. Lesnar also took Cody to the outside and gave him an F5 through the table, but Cody still beat the count.

Back in the ring, Cody hit two cutters but Lesnar kicked out in survival.

Later, Lesnar applied the Kimura Lock but Cody successfully got to the rope. Cody applied his own Kimura Lock after Lesnar went into an exposed turnbuckle but Lesnar escaped.
