The Sports Director of Mass Communication department, Comrade Chukwuebuka Ezeike has hailed the achievements of ND2 players of the department over a landslide defeat against Library and Information Science department in the 2020/2021 School of Information Technology football tournament.

Commenting after ND2 level Mass Communication defeated ND1 Library Science by 1 goals to Zero, Comrade Ezeike described the players as rare breed.

He said though the match was like the clash of the titans, that ND2 team exhibited a lot of determination and professionalism in their preparation and would reach the finals if they sustain the tempo.

It was an entertaining and eventful match at the Polytechnic school pitch on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 as both teams tried to outplay each other.

The match was very combative as both teams were bent on carrying the day. The first half yielded no goal and during the first quarter of second half, Emmanuel Chideraa took the lead by a strike which made him scored a goal for his team.

This is the first time a team from Mass Communication is defeating Library Science department.

The match is expected to continue tommorow.
