On Saturday October 14, 2023, the 24th Annual General Meeting of Archdeacon Dennis Junior Seminary Mbieri Old Boys Association Worldwide held in Onitsha.
The meeting was hosted by Awka/Onitsha Chapter at the Royal Hall, Archbishop C.J. Patternson Int'l Auditorium Complex, All Saints Cathedral, GRA Onitsha.
The AGM was under the spiritual leadership of the Rt. Rev Chukwuma C. Oprah, PhD Bishop of Owerri Diocese and Proprietor, Archdeacon Dennis Junior Seminary Mbieri.
The Dinner/Award Night was presided over by the National President of the ADJS- Surv. Kennedy Chukwuemeka. Prince Sir Okezie Ekpeh served as the Chairman of the LOC and Programme Director.
The Special Guest of Honour was Hon Uche Harrison Annie Okonkwo member representing Idemili North and South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
The Award Night started with a lecture tagged. "SMEs: Challenges, Prospects and the Nigerian Economy" was delivered by the guest lecturer- Pharm Sir Chris Ukachukwu (CEO Rexton Industries Ltd ).
Archdeacon Dennis Junior Seminary Mbieri was founded in 1979 by Late Archbishop Nwankiti and the Old Boys Association Worldwide founded twenty-four years ago. Archdeacon Dennis Junior Seminary Mbieri had produced a Bishop in the person of Rt Rev Benjamin C. Okeke of Orlu Diocese as first old Bishop, Archdeacons, Canons, Priests, Professors, Lots of Professionals and captains of industries.
The meeting featured awards and the recipients were Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze, Sir Damian Onyekachi Hon Emmanuel Ikechukwu Nweke and Chief Austin C. Onwubiko.
Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze attended as one of the guests of Honour and recipient of the "Friend of the Old Boys Association Worldwide Award".
Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze (Ichie Chinemeze N'Ukpo), Chairman Ceremonies Committee Ohaneze Ndigbo Anambra State lauded the old boys for strong spirit of oneness, exemplary coordination as well as succes in different endevours.
