Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University staff, friends bid farewell to late legal icon, Sir Ignatius Obijiaku

The remains of Late Sir Ignatius Obijiaku who hails from Nanka, Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra state, was laid to rest last Friday .

Before his death, he was a two times Head of Department of Law Faculty of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam and has thought in the institution for 19years until his death.

His colleagues and the entire members of his department were fully represented at the funeral Mass. They later went ahead to console the family. Sir Ignatius Obijiaku was also a knight of St. Mulumba. 

Speaking during the funeral Mass at St. Gregory Catholic Church, Enugu -Nanka, the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia diocese, Cardinal Peter Okpaleke, implored the children to emulate their father's legacy and encouraged them to continue with the work of God. Interment later follows, after church service.

Rev. Father Obijiaku , son of the deceased, thanked the Bishop, the school authority (especially the late father's department) and all dignitaries that came from far and sundry.
