Cardinal Peter Ebere Okpaleke on Saturday ordained six reverends to the priesthood. The ordained priests were Rev Fr. Bartholomew Ekene Ogbonna, Rev Fr. BenStan Uyanwa, Rev. Fr. Nimin Cornellus Demenenge , Rev. Fr Bonjface Ifeanyichukwu Nwokedi and Rev. Fr Malachy Ezeokafor.
The event whuch held at St Joseph's Cathedral, Ekwulobia experienced huge attendance of many dignitaries including Prof. Godwin Maduka, Mr Peter Obi and Dr Valentine Ozigbo.
Bishop urges new priests to guard against temptations
The Bishop of Catholic Diocese of Ekwulobia Cardinal Peter Ebere Okpaleke applauded those who made it to the level of priesthood during the first priestly ordination at the cathedral.
Bishop Okpalaeke further charged the new priests to be focused on their duties to the glory of God, adding that challenges comes with the work of God, which one needs to be always prepared ahead of it.
