Soludo inaugurates Governing Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University

Governor of Anmabra State, Prof. Charles Soludo has inaugurated the Governing Council of Anmabra State owned University, the Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) on Wednesday. 

The event held at the Anambra State Executive Council chamber, Government House Awka 

The members of the new COOU Governing Council include the following:

1) Professor Chidi Odinkalu (Pro-Chancellor/Chairman)

2) Amb. Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu

3) Chief Christopher Ndubuisi

4) HRH Oranu Chris Chidume

5) AIG Chris Ezike (Rtd)

Senate Representative to Council

1. Prof. K.K. Nwozo

2. Prof. Angela Nwamuo

3. Prof. C.C Chukwueloka

4. Prof. Obi Emeka

5. Prof. Anselem Nweke

Congregation Representative to Council

1. Prof. M.N Chendo

2. Mrs. Eucharia Abafo

In his speech, Soludo said:

"This council has been saddled with the responsibility of repositioning the University for greatness.

"They will also be saddled with the task of providing foresighted leadership for the institution.

"I am sure the men and women in this council will serve with utmost dignity, as they are a people with pedigree and impeccable professionalism."
