It's been a thrilling day for WWE and fans in Glasgow, Scotland, as Clash at the Castle 2024 gets underway.

Already in one of the main events, Cody Rhodes overwhelmed AJ Styles after inflicting his Cody Cutter and Cross Rhodes. Rhodes eventually tied AJ to ring ropes earlier used by Styles to tie him up.  To avoid further damage, AJ Styles hurriedly announced "I Quit", promoting the referee to call off the match.

The action at a time spilled out of the ring area with Rhodes initially gaining upper hand before Styles took over.  Styles later slammed the champion on top of the announcer's table. Cody Rhodes' mother was in the front row and Styles fond time within his time of dominance to taunt her as her son was busted open.

In one of the main matches, Scotland's Drew McIntyre will take on look to world Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest inside the OVO Hydro.

Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre Championship: How CM Punk caused McIntyre a title win

Towards the end, McIntyre had the match in hand after he successfully delivered a heavy Claymore. Unfortunately, because the referee was taken out, there was nobody to make a count after the Claymore. This was a huge setback for McIntyre.

CM Punk ran down and teased with two pin counts as a ref before kicking withdrawing abruptly. McIntyre rose in consternation but chose to attack Punk. In the process, Punk kicked below the belt and walked away in laughter. As of this time, the ref had not recovered and had not resumed. This allowed Priest to recover and get the pin once the ref returnned to the ring.
