Prof Soludo receives Dikeudo title in Anambra

Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo has been honoured by his him people at his home town Isuofia.
HRH Igwe C.A.O. Moghalu (Isu II Na Isuofia) has conferred on him the Chieftaincy title of DIKEUDO ISUOFIA.
The comferment on Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR held at the Isuofia Civic Center, Aguata, Anambra State.

The title is in recognition of his numerous contributions to the development of Isuofia community.
The event was scheduled to be a major part of this year's Isuofia new yam festival. Most communities in Anambra hold this festival in August. It was so as the event was attended by signatories including His Excellency, Governor Willie Obiano.
Prof. Soludo also attracted a network of tarred roads to his community and has some undergraduates on his scholarship.
In Isuofia, Amorji Primary School was adopted by Prof Soludo since 2013. He undertook the running costs of the school and the school is rated one of the best in Anambra.
For over 14 years, Soludo instituted a revolving interest-free micro credit fund with women's organisations in the church parishes in Isuofia as well as others such as Umuada. Analysts put say the investment run into tens of millions of Naira.
Soludo also pays yearly fees for JAMB and SSCE for hundreds of secondary school students including all students at the Holy Child Secondary School, Isuofia. Similarly, hundreds of graduates have benefitted from his scholarships and bursaries.
Prof. Soludo is apparently man of awards. For his distinguished public service, Prof. Soludo received the third highest national honour (Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic, CFR). He also has over 200 other national and international awards. He was triple winner of the African and Global Central Bank Governor of the year 2005, 2006, and 2007.
In 2006 six national newspapers and magazines simultaneously declared him Nigeria’s “Man of the Year”—in recognition of his transformation of the Nigerian banking/financial system.
With the title of Odenigbo Aguata and Odenjinji Aguluereri under his belt, Soludo has pinned more chieftaincy feathers to his cap and more honours to himself.
