An epic clash between Rangers and Enyimba is set to in Enugu as both teams lock horns in a battle for the 2024 title.
Apparently, the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) is set to witness a monumental showdown as both clubs have attracted huge publicity.
With Rangers leading the table with 61 points and Enyimba hot on their heels with 59 points, this match is expeted to be a decider on who wins the 2024 trophy.
The match has attracted much frenzy as a win by any side could guarantee winning the trophy. Consequently, every kick, tackle or pass, will count for both players and fans. In Enugu, there is sea of heads as mammoth crowd throng the stadium.
Rivalry
The Rangers-Enyimba rivalry has a long history in Nigerian football as both clubs have traded tackles in the past and can boast of numerous titles. Enugu Rangers, fondly known as the “Flying Antelopes,” founded in 1970, have clinched seven league titles and six FA Cups.
