Nigeria 2, Cameroon 0: Ademola Lockman scores twice, sends Nigeria into quarter finals

Ademola Lookman scored twice and  earned Nigeria a place in the quarter-final of the Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-0 win over Cameroon.

In the encounter, Lookman opened the scoring for Nigeria.  Lookman later  doubled Nigeria's lead with his second goal. With Nigeria's 2-0   victory, Nigeria has been shot into quarter finals 

Ademola Lookman celebrated scoring his team's 2nd goal with Victor Osimhen during the Africa Cup of Nations 2023 round of 16 football match between Nigeria and Cameroon at the Felix Houphouet-Boigny Stadium in Abidjan on January 27, 2024.



 

Within the regulation time, the Nigeria Super Eagle's fans  reacted over the hard defense from the Cameroon and rough attack on  Osimhen who happens to be a big threat to the Cameroonians.
