HOD Mass Communication, Federal Polytechnic, Dr. Collins C. Obiorah Oko has announced 2024 Mass communication Seminar Series. The Seminar Series begin first quarter of 2024.
Dr. Obiorah was speaking during the end-of-year party he organised for the staff of the Department of Mass Communication, Federal Polytechnic, Oko.
He urged staff to take advantage of the seminar series, adding that it is an important part of academic pursuits.

Barr. Collins Obiorah stated that in 2024, the department will witness a regular publication of the Dawn newspaper, the workshop newspaper of the department to balance the practical experiences of the broadcast students. He asserted that practical works are critical to the mandate of the department.
He applauded the Rector of the institution, Engr. Dr. Unoma Nwafulugo for granting approval for the renewal of the license of Moment FM, campus broadcast station of the institution also thanked all staff to the support the got in 2023. He promised to follow up on the practical equipment needs of the department.
In his speech, former Head of Department and Dean Dr Onyeka Uwakwe congratulated the HOD for monumental success achieved in 2023.
In attendance included the Dean, School of Information Technology, Dr. Chukwuka Dibia, Dr Obiajulu Ofodile, Mrs Constance Egbue, Dr. Barr. F.M. Oduah, Dr. Bemjamin Obioha and Francis Okon.
