Fed Poly Oko: SUG President congratulates Estate Department for winning 2023 league trophy

The President Students Union Government, Federal Polytechnic oko, Gaint Comrade Nnadi Franklin Chigekwu has congratulated Department of  Estate Management whose gallant football team won  the  Students League Championship.

During the presentation of the trophy, the president encouraged the students to always be dedicated and focus in anything good, adding that football is one the best games in world today.

Speaking at the event the Director of Sports comrade Mkpuogu Onyeka Anthony, thanked the students for turning out enmasse to witness the best students league in the school.

He also thanked his departmental team from the Department of Public Administrations for making it to the final stage. He also urged them to accept defeat and come out stronger in the next tournament.

The final match held between the Estate Management and Public Administration students on the polytechnic field, but the game ended  in a penalty shout-out.

During the penalty shout-out the Public Administration team lost to the Estate Management team with one goal. 

The occasion also witnessed  the presence of the students union government officials and they included the Speaker Students House of Parliament, Deputy Speaker, Chief Judge, the Director of Social, Director of Transport, Secretary General and the Public Relations Oficer.
