The President of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide Anambra State  High Chief Chukwuemekalum Udodemes has solicited collaboration with the police in other to have a crime free Anambra State.

Chief Chukwuemekalum Udodeme made the appeal  on October 11, 2023  when the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Anambra State led paid a courtesy visit to the 6th Assistant Inspector general of Police, Zone 13 Zonal Headquarters, Ukpo, AIG Tony Adejoh Olofu and the 33rd Commissioner of Police , Anambra State-  CP Aderemi Olufemi Adeoye at the State Command Headquarters, Awka.

On  October 11, 2023 the leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide Anambra State led by the State President- High Chief Chukwuemekalum Udodeme paid a courtesy visit to the 6th Assistant Inspector general of Police, Zone 13 Zonal Headquarters , Ukpo, AIG Tony Adejoh Olofu and the 33rd Commissioner of Police , Anambra State-  CP Aderemi Olufemi Adeoye at the State Command Headquarters, Awka.

Obi Chukwuemekalum Udodeme was accompanied by Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze (Chairman of the Ceremonies Committee, Ohaneze Ndigbo Anambra State), Sir Emma Okafor (Secretary Ohaneze Ndigbo Anambra State) , Chief Mike Nnawuzie (Deputy National Secretary, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide), Deacon Godwin Iwuchukwu (State Treasurer Anambra State), Chief Ikechukwu Ezenwankwo ( Chairman Ohaneze Ndigbo Orumba North LGA ), Engr Ebuka Obidi (Chairman Ohaneze Ndigbo Dunukofia  LGA), Chief Vincent Okolo ( Chairman Ohaneze Ndigbo Oyi LGA), Chief Austin Udo ( Chairman Idemmili North LGA ) among others.

High Chief Chukwuemekalum Udodeme on behalf of the Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide Anambra State chapter welcomed the police Chiefs to Anambra State and congratulated them on their promotion, postings and deployment to Anambra State in the capacities they are serving.

Obi Udodeme used the opportunity offered by the visit to intimate them on the works and programs of Ohaneze Ndigbo Anambra State and solicited collaboration with the police in other to have a crime free Anambra State and advance the mandate of Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide Anambra State Chapter.

In their separate responses, AIG Tony Olofu thanked the delegation for the visit and assured of the readiness of the Zonal Headquarters to work with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Anambra in it's efforts to better the lives of Ndi Anambra and protecting  their interest as are deemed appropriate. He equally noted that Ndigbo are very hospitable, loving , industrious and accomodating people. 

In a similar development, CP Aderemi Olufemi Adeoye praised the leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo Anambra State for rising in defense of the people as the Apex Igbo Socio-cultural body that holds the Igbo race together and further assured of the cooperation of the police whenever it is sought.

The courtesy visit was brought to a close with a vote of thanks given to the AIG Zone 13 Zonal Headquarters and Commissioner of Police Anambra State by the Chairman of the Ceremonies Committee, Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide Anambra State- Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze (Ichie Chinemeze N'Ukpo). Sir Nwabueze thanked the Police Chiefs for the warm reception accorded the delegation and promises made for mutual cooperation and collaboration between the Nigeria Police and the leadership of Ohaneze Ndigbo Anambra State.
