Analysis, predictions

Sports pundits in the Department of Mass Communication, Federal Polytechnic, Oko have different views on the possible outcome of the match. While Dr. Ben Obioha  predicts a win for Cityzens, Mr. Osy Moses thinks Inter Milan will carry the day, hinging his prediction on experience.

Dr Obioha said Manchester City is currently the best team in the world and unlikely to disappoint the Cityzens. in his thinks the combination of Erling Haaland and Ilkay Gundogan will do an enormous damage against Inter Milan.

Mr Moses has a different view as he thinks experience will count and will be supplied by players like Romelu Lukaku Bolingoli. He listed other players likely to help trucate City dreams and they are: Hakan Calhanoglu, Francesco Acerbi, Niccolo Barella, Denzel Justus, Lautaro Martinez, J Correa and lDennis Curatolo.

A football analyst and a student of the department, Kingsley Asukwo while congratulating Pep Guardiola  on his resilience for Manchester City, is of the view that Nerazzurri of Inter Milan will give them a run for their money.

His reasons: Inter Milan is a top notch to crack, and the are playing a very compact pattern of football that can frustrate any opposition.

Secondly, their defense is so difficult to break no matter how ruthless the attack.

Thirdly, Asukwo's football permutation is that Inter Milan will be springing a surprise against the Citizens as they will be playing with little or no pressure, adding that on the 10th of June Inter Milan will deny Manchester City the treble chase.

In any case, given the last match, Pep Guardiola has delivered a treble message. And if Guardiola’s side wins, it will be the  second-ever treble achieved by an English club, after United first achieved the feat in 1999.
