Recall that Fr. Mbaka was transfered to a monastery by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Rev Callistus Onaga.

Rev. Fr. Ejike C. Mbaka will be away to Edo Monastery on Spiritual Solitude till January 02, 2023.

Background

Authenticreporters reported that the Catholic priest, Rev. Fr.  Fr. Ejike Mbaka, was banned indefinitely on June 18, 2022, by the Bishop of Enugu Diocese, Most Revd. Callistus Onaga.

Bishop Onaga noted, in his letter to Catholic faithful, that Mbaka had neglected pastoral directives and guidelines for the ministry by converting the pulpit to a political podium, commenting on political happenings in the country.

Bishop Onaga had also announced official prohibition of all Catholic faithful, clergymen and religious from attending all AMEN programmes.

The Ministry  was believed to have been shut down by the Catholic Bishop of Enugu following the Fr. Mbaka’s  outburst against the Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr. Peter Obi bordering on Peter Obi's perceived stinginess.

The  Ministry is located  in Emene, Enugu State, was  founded by the Catholic Priest, Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka and run by Mbaka.

Most followers agree the ministry has lifted them in faith, addressing many spiritual problems.
