Sea of heads, tributes as Monago family buries Ogbueshi Theresa Adaobi Monago in Obosi

The late Ogbueshi Theresa Adaobi Monago (Onowu Original)  of Obosi, Anambra State has been buried in Obosi. The nonagenarian died at 99.

The late Mrs Monago is the mother of Chief Dr Sir Emma Ndudi Monago.

Ahead of the burial, service of songs and  tributes held Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at the compound of the late Chief Zackson Monago's compound, Ugamuma Obosi.

On Thursday November 23, 2023, body arrived her residence by 8am. Church service held at St. Mary's Anglican Church, Obosi by 10am.

The burial of the departed was superintended by Andlican Priest led by Bishop. Bishop of Mbamili Doocese, The Rt Revd Uzochukwu Obiora was in attendance.

At the venue of the burial, sea of heads- family members, bishops, the clergy, friends, colleagues and well wishes were at Obisi country country to witness the burial rites. Senators Ifeanyi Ubah and Uche Ekwunife (Iyom), Prof. Rose Nwankwo (Ada Di Ọra Mma) attended the event. 

Well-meaning Nigerians, especially from the academics sent in tributes and condolences. Many dignatories were in attendance. The Management Team of Rector of Federal Polytechnic, Oko led by  Engr Dr Francisca Unoma Nwafulugo attended the ceremony.

Staff of Federal Polytechnic, Oko who came to commiserate with the Director Medical Services, Dr Ifeoma Monago also attended the ceremy in large numbers.

The ceremony winessed rich display of culture including a are rare marriage humanity witj robotics.
