Wailing as corpse of Anambra commissioner’s aide killed along Abuja highway is brought back to Onitsha

The body of murdered ABK Offiah, an aide to the Anambra State Commissioner for Youths Development, Hon Patrick Aghamba, who was killed by gunmen on his way to Abuja on Friday, has been brought back to Onitsha commercial city on Sunday.

Family members and well wishers cried uncontrollably as the corpse arrived in a Sienna ambulance. In a trending video, many people were seen crying profusely and cursing those responsible for the death of the young legal practitioner.

The Late Offiah and the Aghambas were travelling in a Sienna bus when gunmen shot and killed him along the Edo- Kogi road and kidnapped the Commissioner and his wife.

They were on their way to Abuja to attend the wedding ceremony of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s daughter, Adaora who is also married to an indigene of Onitsha.

Hon Patrick Aghamba and his wife were released by their abductors on Saturday night.
