Show Forth His Glory: Anglican faithfuls nationwide gather in Oko for 2024 EFAC convention

Evangelical Fellowship in the Anglican Communion (EFAC) continues her evangelism in Nigeria from Oko community in Orumba North Local Government Area of Anambra State. 

In this regard, series of religious programmes began on Monday August 12 and have attracted Anglican faithfuls from far and wide.

As part of the activities lined up for the programme, Clergy and Wife Retreat held from Monday August 12 to Thursday 15. A General Convention is underway and holds from Thursday to Sunday August 18th. The theme of the conference is "Show Forth His Glory" Ias 60:2.

The polytechnic field, venue for the general convention is beehive of religious activities including worship, sermons, songs.



In an interview, one of the attendees Mr Emmanuel Ifeanacho, from the Diocese of Owerri said this convention is seen as opportunity to bring together all Anglican faithfuls.

The convention began on Monday with Clergy and Wives Retreat at St John Anglican Church, Oko the home church of the Bishop of Aguata Diocese Very Rt. Rev'd Dr Samuel C. Ezeofor.

Some of the Bishops in attendance are, Rt. Rev'd Geophery Ibeabuchi, Bishop Umuahia Diocese;

Rev'd Henry Okeke, Bishop of Owerri Diocese: Rt.Rev'd Dr Emmanuel O. Oko-Jaja, East Bloc Chairman and a host of other eminent clergies.
