Igwe Okija gives out daughter, Princess Chiemerie in traditional marriage

The ancient town of Okija Kingdom was a beehive of activities with the traditional marriage of the daughter of His Royal Majesty, Igwe Emeka Nnamdi Okezie (Oka-Ije 2) Princess Chiemerie Sochima Okezie and her Heartrob, Dr. Uzodinma Collins Umeh.

The traditional marriage witnessed breaking of kolanut between the royal family and the in-laws from Neni, Anambra State. The event also featured traditional wine carrying and cultural dance from Obo na Owerre cultural dance troupe.

The ceremony which held at the palace of His Royal Majesty Igwe Emeka Nnamdi Okezie (Oka-Ije 2) was graced by dignitaries among whom were Dr. Dozie Mbanefo, Dr. Ernest Azudialu Obiejesi (Obijackson), Engr. Lady Ada Chukwudozie (Wife of CEO, Dozzy group of companies), Hon. Golden Iloh (Member Representing ihiala constituency 2, Anambra state of house assembly), Engr.Anayo Orijakor( Transition Chairman, Ihiala LGA), Chief Umeh Nwabueze( Ofiafuruego, Okija), Barr. Chuddy Momah, Dr. Michael Ozulumba, Chief Barth Nwadialor, Engr. Chu- Chu Ewuzie, Chief William Nnaka ( Ijele Okija) and host of other dignitaries.

The Royal cabinet members of Okija Kingdom were fully in attendance and other social clubs such as Okija bu Enyi and Okija Big brothers witnessed the occasion.
