Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze has been appointed the Co-ordinator of South East Igbo Bible Revival Project, of the Bible Society of Nigeria, South East.

The appointment paper was delivered to him by the Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Anambra State and Zonal Chairman of the Bible Society of Nigeria, South East Zone- Ven Joseph Nweke.
In a reaction, Sir Nwabueze said "being a lover of God and Knight of the Church, I consider it a great previlege to be appointed to serve God in that capacity. By the grace of God and through the support and commitment of all the Bible reading churches in the South East, Igbo Bible which is barely of second edition while that of Yoruba is in its fifth edition, will not go into extinction.
"As one of the Patrons of BSN South East Zone, I will try as much as it lies within me to justify these trusts and responsibilities God being my helper."

A mission statement by the organisation reads: "Bible Society of Nigeria is a non-profit-making interdenominational Christian organization whose sole mission is to make the Holy Bible available and affordable to Nigerians in their preferred languages and formats, helping them engage with the word of God through life-transforming programmes.
"BSN is not a Church and does not have bias for or against any particular Church denomination. We serve the Churches by providing the Bible which they need in their task of soul winning. We are partners with the Churches in fulfillment of the Great Commission.
"We strive to break any known barrier that makes the word of God inaccessible to Christians.
"This we do by translating the Bible into different Nigerian Languages, publishing and distributing them."
