Nwabueze, Arase, Amadi, others bag Fellowship of Institute of Diplomacy and Management

The International Conference, Centre, Abuja was a beehive of activity as diplomatic creme de la creme converged at the International Conference Centre Abuja for a 2-day International Diplomacy and Management Conference and Investiture of Fellowship Award on deserving members of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management.

The Conference with the theme "Diplomatic Practice for Organisational and National Economic Sustainability" had eminent Nigerians in attendance, namely His Excellency Dr. Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, the Executive Governor of Gombe State; Chairman of Police Service Commission, Inspector General of Police Solomon Arase (Rtd.) who delivered the keynote speech; Kaduna State Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Hon. Barr. Sule Shaibu, Secretary to Gombe State Government, Prof. Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, among several others.

The erstwhile Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to the Republic of the Gambia and the President of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management (CIPDM), Prof. Mike Ikupolati, FCPDM, Professor of Leadership and Corporate Governance delivered a paper titled "Diplomatic Practices For Organisational and National Economic Sustainability"

Dr. Sam Amadi, Director, Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, former Special Adviser to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and former Chairman, Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission,  delivered a paper titled "Financial Diplomatic Practices in the Face of Harsh Economic Challenges in Nigeria".

Profile of Sir Nwabueze

The High point of the event was the investiture and conferment of a Fellowship of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management on Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze  (Ichie Chinemeze N'Ukpo), by the Governing Council and Management of the Chartered Institute of Public Diplomacy and Management (CIPDM).

Sir Nwabueze is an accountant, entrepreneur and investment analyst. He is a Rotarian and holder of the Status of Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, Justice of Peace, Peace Ambassador. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Federal Polytechnic Oko amongst other degrees and Academic Fellowship Awards.

He is the Chairman Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide Ceremonies Committee Anambra State,  Chairman Gen Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida Federal Polytechnic Oko Alumni Annual Public Lecture Committee, Chairman Dunukofia Museum Project Committee, CEO Izudatcares Ventures Ltd Nnewi, CEO Smartview Printing Press Nnewi.

He is a knight of St. Pauls Awka Diocese/Niger Province,  Archbishop Nominee of Awka Diocese and Nnewi Diocese respectively. A member of the Igwe's Royal Cabinet of the revered Ukpo Community of Dunukofia Ancient Kingdom. He was Managing Director, Premier Breweries Plc Onitsha. Ichie Nwabueze is a  recipient of over 222 awards and recognitions from notable educational, cultural, religious, community-based and governmental organizations.

Sir, Izuchukwu Nwabueze is a Rotarian and Paul Harris Fellow, the former Principal Secretary to the Traditional Ruler of Ukpo Ancient Kingdom and the head of Dunukofia clan in Dunukofia Local government area of Anambra State.

He is a member of the revered Igwe In-Council Ukpo, Director of Social Services and Corporate Communications, Dunukofia National Congress and he is happily married with Children.
