The on-going Rector's cup at Federal Polytechnic, Oko progresses with impressive performances and entertaining matches by students
Both teams displayed great skills which thrilled their fans. Staff and students witnessed the match with clear range of supporters for the two schools
In today's match, School of Information Technology triumphed against School of Applied science 2-1.
Relatedly, the match held shortly after the Rector of the Polytechnic Dr Mrs Frabcisca Unoma Nwafulugo paid a scheduled vist to the Department of Mass Communication domiciled in School of Information Technology. The Rector lauded the Department led by the Head, Barr. Collins Obiorah for upbeat status of the department. She announced approval for support towards the upgrade of Moment FM studio of Federal Polytechnic, Oko.
In his speech, the Head of Department, Barr. Collins Obiorah thanked the Rector for efforts at uplifting the department but made some request aimed at addressing some other needs of the department.

In the earlier matches, School of Information Technology defeated other schools beating SBS 2-1; Fine and applied Art 5-0 and 3-0 against Atani Campus.
In the last match with School of Arts and Design, the Deputy Governor School of Information Technology, Jaja Confidence s scored the opening goal and this created great enthusiasm from players and supporters.
