It was a day of testimonies from friends, colleagues and well-wishers at a retirement party in honour of AIG Tony Olofu the sixth Assistant Inspector General of Police in Charge of Zone 13 Zonal Headquarters, Ukpo, Anambra State.
The retirement party was put together by officers and men of Zone 13 Zonal Headquarters, Anambra State and Enugu sStateCommands with CP Aderemi Olufemi Adeoye coordinating the activities of the retirement party.

CP Aderemi Olufemi Adeoye in his emotional speech Encomuoums as colleagues, friends hold retirement party for AIG Tony Olofu described the retiring AIG as great son of Idoma land as his boss and friend.
Dignitaries led by the Deputy Governor of Anambra State and wife- Sir Dr & Mrs . Onyekachukwu Ibezim; AIG in charge of Zone 9 Umuahia- AIG Echeng Eworo Echeng; CP Aderemi Olufemi Adeoye Commissioner of Police Anambra State; Service Commanders in Anambra State and neighboring states, Prince Engr Dr . Arthur Ikpechukwu Eze OFR represented by Ichie Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze who was also invited as the Chairman of Zone 13 Zonal Chaplaincy Stakeholders Forum; High Chief Emeka Nwosu (Ozo Bekee) CEO Mr Smith Hotel Awka; Hon Tochukwu Okeke Zonal PCRC Chairman; Chief Ikechukwu Ezenwankwo, Chairman PCRC Anambra State; Management of Zone 13 Zonal Headquarters led by DCP Ozigi Omoru.
Other personalities were: Officers and men of Anambra State and Enugu state Commands; Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Anambra State, Honourable Members, commissioners( serving and former), Police Officers Wives Association POWA led by Mrs Bola Adeoye and numerous captains of industries.
Biography
AIG Tony Adejoh Olofu was born on October 24, 1963, in Otukpo, Benue State. He is the husband of one of the newly promoted CPs - AIG Rhoda Adetutu Olofu with whom he enrolled into the Nigerian Police Force in 1990. It is record-breaking news that husband and wife respectfully attained the rank of Assistant Inspector General of Police in the history of the Force. AIG Tony who will be exactly 60 years old on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, is retiring after over 33 years of meritorious and fulfilled service to the Nation.
Sir Izuchukwu Nwabueze, Chairman Zone 13 Zonal Chaplaincy Stakeholders Forum described the retiring officer as a great asset to the nation and wished him well.
