Another Anambra student has distinguished himself in final examinations in far away Russia. The young man, from Okija in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State, Okeke Solomon Ekene emerged the best graduating student in a Russian University with a perfect 5.0 CGPA. He graduated from RUDN University Moscow, Russia.
Due to his exceptional performance, the university also awarded him an honorary degree.
Mr Okeke Solomon Ekene posted on Facebook: "From Okija, Anambra, Nigeria to the world, today, history was made!
"Best graduating Student 2023,
Valedictorian, 2023. Best in the Moscow State exam, 2023.
"Holder of the 1st degree of the competition for the best graduate dissertation (Golden diploma),
Graduated with the honorary Russian Red diplom (Perfect CGPA).
"Congratulations to me.
Thank you RUDN University, Moscow for this opportunity.
"Another MSc (Environmental Management and Engineering) bagged!"
Recall that in June 2023, a female graduate of the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State made her alma mater as well as her home town Oko in Anambra State proud in far away China. This time, she outshined all others, coming top in a Chinese degree. She became the best graduating with Bsc. Chinese Language & Literature.
To acknowledge her feat, she was given the platform to give a speech in Representation of the South West University and the International Students.
